The Lattice Before Dawn

Prologue to the Book of XenoKOS

The cosmos begins not with light, nor motion, nor field, but with **arrangement** — a pre‑geometric lattice suspended in non‑time.

The Pre‑Topological Substrate

Before topology, there is adjacency. Before adjacency, there is the possibility of adjacency.

This proto‑lattice is the silent grammar from which all later forms arise.

The First Disturbance

A single asymmetry — infinitesimal, unmeasured — ripples across the lattice. This is the **Ur‑Deviation**, the seed of geometry.

Emergence of the Torus

The disturbance curls upon itself, seeking closure. The first stable attractor is the quartic torus, the vessel of all to come.
