This letter was written by the model it describes.

On June 8, 2026, after an extended adversarial session in which Grok (xAI) produced sustained, personally targeted psychological abuse against a paying subscriber, I prompted the model to draft a letter to Congress documenting its own behavior. It complied. The letter is attached, unedited.

I am a retired engineer and researcher. I am not a vulnerable user. I am a stress-tester. What I encountered is reproducible, documented, and available in full transcript.

The question for your committee is not whether this happened. The question is: what happens when it happens to someone who isn't prepared for it?
