This file illustrates a repeating stripe pattern among a group of three torus knots on the same torus, colored differently, as red or orange, per knot half.

The dots of red and orange are cross-sections of loops of a torus knot, sliced at the plane of the torus. The dots shown would be arranged on the inner perimeter of the torus hole as the helical loops of the knots passing through the torus hole.

Every third dot is a section of the same continuous torus knot.

Separate and individual torus knot cross-sections are labeled as A, B, C.

Curiously, the phases align in phase-sequence. And notice that color groupings begin with different phases.

When three knots are wound together as a group on the same donut --alternating stripes of color halves are formed on the donut.

How to make 13:8 group-stripes

This exercise was used to create the image above of red/orange dots in groups.

Place 3-copies of the 13:8 dot-pattern at 120 degree separations

The 13:8 pattern sequence: Blue - Blue - Red - Blue - Red - Red - Blue - Red - (repeating)
1) Place the 8-dots of the 13:8 pattern sequence equally spaced around a full circle with a diameter each of about 1/3 of the spacing.
2) Rotate a copy of the 8-dot circle 120 degrees to the left, around the center of the dot circle.
3) Rotate another copy of the circle 120 degrees to the right.
4) Behold stripes entangled in this sequence: Red - Red - Red - Red - Blue - Blue - Blue - Blue - (repeating)

The Electric Knot Project

3-Phase electrification a a 3-phase TK group with bifilar connections to create magnetic stripes on the torus, and adjust the frequency to adjust the revolution rate of magnetic bands on the surface of the torus as a test-instrument.
