While 'time' is a human abstraction, in causal essense, time is a complexification process among quantum events in the totality of influence.  A general use of the term 'entropy' better describes the causal fabric of reality complexification of change, which humans call time.

A spherical gradient of entropic viscosity toward a center-point of the gradient-change, with the viscosity of aging increasing toward center point, would create a sphericity that ages slower toward center, relative to the outside the influence of the 3D dimple in the entropic viscosity of space-time.

The balancing force of entropy is mind, as a quantum de-complexification, as a realm of things less entropic.
